VT Insider Tip

The self-guided Victorian house tour is the real draw. Homeowners open their beautifully restored heritage homes to the public — you won't see these interiors any other day of the year.

About

The Cabbagetown Festival turns one of Toronto's oldest neighbourhoods into a charming street fair. Local artisans, live music, a farmers' market, and the famous Victorian house tours. It's small-town Ontario vibes in the middle of the city.

What to Expect

A weekend neighbourhood festival. Saturday is the main street fair with vendors and music. Sunday is more relaxed with the house tour and farmers' market.

Pro Tips

Buy house tour tickets in advance — they sell out. The walk from the festival along the residential streets is gorgeous, especially in September with the gardens still in bloom.

Getting There

Parliament Street between Carlton and Wellesley. Walk from Castle Frank or Sherbourne TTC stations. Street parking is very limited.
