Looking for a fun and delicious way for teens to spend an afternoon? Woodside Square Library is hosting a special Youth Hub workshop on Tiramisu Making, led by Chef Yumiko. Teens will get a hands-on, step-by-step introduction to crafting the beloved classic Italian dessert, from handling the ingredients to putting together a ready-to-eat sweet treat.

What to Expect Chef Yumiko will guide participants through the basics of building a proper tiramisu, breaking down the ingredients and techniques in an approachable way. Please note that the recipe involves dairy, eggs, and decaffeinated espresso, so participants with allergies should take note. Best of all, Youth Hub programs always feature a welcoming space and free, nutritious snacks alongside the activity.

Getting There Located inside Woodside Square at 1571 Sandhurst Circle in Scarborough, the library is easily accessible via TTC bus routes from Finch or Midland stations. It makes for a great after-school or summer drop-in spot for local youth looking to pick up a new culinary skill.
