Teens looking to pick up a delicious new culinary skill can head to the Toronto Reference Library for a hands-on Tiramisu workshop led by Chef Yumiko.

Hosted as part of the library's popular Youth Hub programming, this session breaks down the classic Italian dessert into simple, accessible steps. Participants will learn how to handle ingredients—including dairy, eggs, and decaffeinated espresso—while putting together a ready-to-eat treat to enjoy.

What to Expect Chef Yumiko will walk attendees through the foundational steps of layering and balancing flavours for a traditional tiramisu. It's a relaxed, welcoming environment designed for teens to learn, socialize, and grab a free nutritious snack provided by the Youth Hub.

Getting There The Toronto Reference Library is located at 789 Yonge Street, just north of Bloor Street West. It is easily accessible via the Bloor-Yonge subway station, making it a convenient stop for youth across the city looking for a fun after-school or summer activity.
