Get hands-on this summer at the Downsview Library Youth Hub with a fun and relaxing origami lantern workshop. Teens are invited to drop in and try their hand at paper folding to create beautiful, ambient lanterns fitted with battery-operated LED tea lights.

Whether you're an origami pro or a complete beginner, helpful library staff will guide you through the steps. It's a great chance to make a cool room decor piece, hang out in a welcoming space, and enjoy free nutritious snacks provided as part of the TPL Youth Hub drop-in program.
Getting There
Head to the Downsview branch at 2793 Keele Street, easily accessible near Downsview Park. The event is completely free, open to all teens aged 13–17, and requires no prior registration.
