Youth Hub: Game Day

Looking for a welcoming spot for teens to unwind after school or during the summer break? The Toronto Reference Library hosts its weekly Youth Hub Game Day on the first floor, offering a fantastic community space for youth aged 13 to 17. Whether they're looking to settle friendly rivalries in Mario Kart and FIFA or kick back with solo play on the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, there is plenty of gaming hardware to go around.

What to Expect As part of the library's dedicated Youth Hub initiative, this drop-in program provides a safe, inclusive environment staffed by helpful youth workers. To keep energy levels high during intense matches, free and nutritious snacks are offered daily. Play sessions are organized on a first-come, first-served basis with friendly rotation rules to ensure everyone gets a turn.

Getting There The event takes place right at the massive Toronto Reference Library on Yonge Street, just north of Bloor, making it exceptionally accessible via the Yonge-University subway line at Bloor-Yonge Station. Drop-ins are always free.
