Youth Hub: Floral Arrangement Workshop with Harsharan

Bring a little bit of nature indoors with a hands-on floral arrangement workshop led by Harsharan at the S. Walter Stewart Library. Designed specifically for teens as part of the branch's Youth Hub programming, participants will learn simple, effective design styles using fresh local florals and a classic mason jar.

Attendees will leave with their very own mini arrangement to brighten up their room, along with the foundational skills to create their own floral pieces in the future. Registration is available online, with any remaining open spots filled on a first-come, first-served basis. As a bonus, free nutritious snacks are provided for youth attendees.

Located at 170 Memorial Park Avenue in East York, the library is a fantastic neighborhood hub. Note that fresh flowers and plants will be used throughout the space, so those with sensitivities should keep that in mind. It's a lovely, creative way to spend an evening in the east end.
