Get a firsthand look at modern manufacturing technology with a free 3D Printer Demo hosted at the Parliament Street Library's Youth Hub.

Designed for teens interested in design and technology, library staff will walk participants through the capabilities of the branch's Digital Innovation Hubs. Attendees will learn how to properly prepare a 3D design file for printing, understand the correct and safe operation of the equipment, and review the essential guidelines for using the maker spaces.

What to Expect This informative session provides a clear entry point into digital fabrication. Staff will answer questions and demonstrate how digital concepts turn into physical objects. As with all Youth Hub events, free nutritious snacks will be available.

Getting There The Parliament Street Library is located at 269 Gerrard Street East, right in the heart of Cabbagetown. It's easily reached via the Carlton streetcar or connecting buses from the subway, making it a great spot for local youth to drop in.
