Looking for a way to get your toddlers moving and engaged this summer? Head over to the S. Walter Stewart Library in East York for a special interactive Yoga Storytime. Led by Megan Snider, author and founder of Appleseed Yoga for Kids, this session brings beloved stories to life through movement, breathwork, and gentle poses.

What to Expect Designed specifically for toddlers and preschoolers up to age 4 (with caregivers), the class blends storytelling with playful yoga stretches. Kids can participate as much or as little as they like—whether that means following every pose or just sitting back to listen and absorb the creative atmosphere. No prior yoga experience, mats, or special materials are required; just bring your enthusiasm.

Making a Morning of It Located on Memorial Park Avenue near the Pape and Danforth areas, the library branch makes for a great neighbourhood stop. Afterward, you can stroll through nearby East York parks or grab a bite at one of the local family-friendly cafés along the Danforth.

Practical info: The program runs from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on August 4, 2026, in the branch auditorium. Registration is requested for attending children and adults.
