Looking for a low-stakes way to get crafty and connect with neighbours in Corktown? The Parliament Street Library is hosting its weekly Yarn and Collage Club, welcoming makers of all skill levels to drop in, share techniques, and work on their current projects.
Whether you are deep into a complex crochet blanket, trying out scrapbooking, or just learning how to cast on your very first knitting stitches, this self-directed meetup offers a friendly, welcoming environment to get creative. Basic supplies are provided to help get you started, but participants are encouraged to bring whatever portable project they currently have on the go.
Located right in the heart of the neighbourhood at 269 Gerrard Street East, it's an easy stop after work or dinner. Grab your yarn, drop by to meet some local crafters, and make some steady progress on that pile of unfinished projects in your living room.
