What to Expect Comedians take the stage to perform their sets, but they aren't safe from the writers' room lurking in the shadows. While the comic performs, a dedicated team of writers—featuring local talents like Sashka DC, Derek Forgie, and Blayne Smith—rapidly pen roast-jokes about everything the comic says and does. Todd Van Allen then collects these notes and reads them out verbatim. The results are unpredictable, brutally funny, and rarely fail to crack up both the audience and the performers.
