Wonder Workshop: Pollinators Challenge for Kids!

Get the kids outdoors (in spirit, at least) by learning about some of our smallest and most important neighbourhood residents! The Bloor/Gladstone Library is hosting the Wonder Workshop: Pollinators Challenge, inviting children ages 6 to 10 to dive deep into the remarkable migration journey of the monarch butterfly.

Participants will learn why pollinators are vital to our local ecosystems and use their imaginations to design and build their very own mock butterfly garden stations. To sweeten the deal, every young builder gets entered into a prize draw for a chance to take home an awesome book. Located at the grand heritage library on Bloor West, it's a stellar afternoon activity for families. Stick around the neighbourhood afterward to grab a pastry or explore nearby Wallace Emerson parks. Note that space is limited, so advance registration through the library is recommended.
