Blast off into an afternoon of cosmic exploration at the Leaside Library branch with their latest Wonder Workshop: Out of this World Challenge.
What to Expect
Tailored for children ages 6 to 10, this interactive session invites young minds to imagine what it would be like to travel deep into outer space. Participants will learn cool facts about space and the red planet, brainstorm creative solutions to the challenges astronauts face on long journeys, and design their very own spacecraft models. To top it all off, every participant gets entered into a prize draw for a chance to take home an awesome book.
Practical Info
The workshop runs on August 5, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Community Room at the Leaside Library (165 McRae Drive). While the event is free, space is limited, so early arrival or checking for pre-registration is recommended.
