Wonder Workshop: Community Challenge

Got a budding architect, engineer, or community leader on your hands? Bring them to the Barbara Frum Library for the Wonder Workshop: Community Challenge, an imaginative afternoon dedicated to making our neighbourhoods stronger.

Building for the Future Designed for kids ages 4 to 12, this session invites children to look around their community, identify what makes it special, and dream up inventive structures or projects that could make it even better. Using their imagination and various design materials, kids will put on their thinking caps to prototype their big ideas. Plus, participants can enter a prize draw for a chance to take home an awesome new book.

Practical Details - **When:** Friday, July 31, 2026, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. - **Where:** Barbara Frum Library — 3rd Floor, Room B (20 Covington Road, North York). - **Cost:** Free, but space is limited. This is a drop-in program available until capacity is reached, so arriving a few minutes early is recommended.
