Dive into environmental science with the Wonder Workshop: Clean Water Challenge at the Malvern Library. This interactive session invites school-aged children to explore pressing ecological questions about the earth's water supply and the health of our oceans.
What to Expect
Participants will learn about how pollution impacts marine ecosystems and the sea creatures that call them home. Using their imaginations, kids will brainstorm and prototype creative, hands-on solutions—designing imaginative machines meant to clear trash and debris from the water. Plus, all participants will be entered into a random draw for a chance to win a book prize!
Practical Info & Registration
This free program is tailored specifically for children ages 6 to 12. Because space and supplies are limited, registration is required ahead of time. Note that there is a strict 10-minute grace period at the start of the workshop, after which open spots will be offered to walk-ins. Head out to the Malvern branch at 30 Sewells Road in Scarborough for an afternoon of eco-friendly engineering and fun.
