Teach kids about the importance of our water supply and ocean health at the Wonder Workshop: Clean Water Challenge, hosted at the Albert Campbell Library. Designed for young environmentalists and budding engineers, this session explores how pollution impacts marine life and the world's oceans.
Building for a Cause
Participants will use their imaginations to brainstorm creative, hands-on solutions to real-world ecological problems. Kids will work together to design and prototype a machine capable of cleaning trash and pollution out of the sea. Plus, attendees will be entered into a random draw for a chance to win a special book prize!
Practical Details
The workshop takes place in the Auditorium of the Albert Campbell Library (496 Birchmount Road in Scarborough). This free program is geared toward children ages 6 to 10. Space is limited, so be sure to secure your spot ahead of time.
