Looking to strengthen your mental health, manage everyday stress, or simply find more balance in your routine? The Parliament Street Library is hosting an introductory information session for the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) program, run in collaboration with the Gerstein Crisis Centre.
What to Expect Whether you are supporting your mental health or just seeking practical tools to feel more resilient, this 8-week group explores evidence-based self-care tools. Participants will dive into peer connections, relaxation and mindfulness techniques, and stress reduction strategies designed to help you navigate difficult times. Those who complete the program will also receive an official WRAP certificate.
Practical Details The information session takes place on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Parliament Street Library (269 Gerrard Street East). The full WRAP group meets weekly on Tuesdays from August 11 to September 29, 2026, between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Registration closes after week three or when capacity is reached. To ensure accessibility, TTC Presto tickets are provided for participants, along with complimentary snacks and refreshments.
While you are in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood, take some time to explore local cafes or enjoy a stroll down nearby Parliament Street before or after the session.
