Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)

Monday, August 10, 2026
5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
High Park — Program Room
If you are looking to strengthen your mental health, manage everyday stress, or build greater emotional resilience, the High Park library branch is hosting an in-depth, multi-week wellness program that can help.
The Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is an evidence-based self-management system designed to help individuals monitor their mental well-being, identify personal triggers, and develop practical action plans for difficult times. Delivered in collaboration with the Gerstein Crisis Centre, this structured 8-week group meets weekly on Monday evenings from August 10 through October 5 (note the break for Labour Day on September 7).
What the Program Covers Over the course of the sessions, participants explore self-care tools such as peer support connections, relaxation and mindfulness techniques, and effective stress-reduction strategies. Participants who complete the program will receive an official WRAP certificate.
To make participation as accessible as possible, organizers provide TTC Presto tickets alongside free snacks and refreshments at each gathering. The branch is conveniently located right in the vibrant Roncesvalles neighbourhood at 228 Roncesvalles Avenue.
Registration is required and closes after the third week (or when full). It is a compassionate, supportive community resource for anyone looking to invest in their personal well-being this autumn.
