Broadway gets a wildly unpredictable makeover in 'Way Off Broadway,' a high-energy double feature of musical comedy hitting the Comedy Bar stage this fall. Hosted at the venue's iconic Bloor Street West location, this show throws out the scripts entirely, relying on audience suggestions to build hilarious scenes and fully improvised showstoppers on the spot.
The evening features two distinct troupes: Mirv-"ish" (starring local comedy favorites like Janek Gonsalkorale, Kendall Savage, and Kara Harun) and RATS! Another Musical (featuring Arielle Zamora, Daniel Fishbayn, and a stacked ensemble), all backed by musical director Rory Grant. Expect fast-paced wit, catchy improvised tunes, and plenty of laughs.
