Visible Labour brings together five women artists at the Leslie Grove Gallery in Leslieville for a unique group exhibition. The show serves as a counterweight to the often-solitary nature of artistic practice, as these artists have met regularly to discuss and expose their work to one another's sensibilities.

What to Expect Visitors can expect a diverse range of techniques and visual languages, reflecting the individual practices of the five featured artists. While the work is distinct, the exhibition is framed by a collective, visually intelligent dialogue. The show runs from April 29 through May 10, with an opening reception on Sunday, May 3, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It is a great opportunity to support local artists and engage with the Leslieville art community.

Visiting the Gallery The Leslie Grove Gallery is located at 1158 Queen Street East. The gallery is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. After taking in the exhibition, you are perfectly positioned to explore the rest of Leslieville, known for its charming independent shops, cafes, and proximity to the scenic Ashbridge’s Bay Park.
