Address
If you can recite every Hallmark plot beat from memory, The Unauthorized Hallmark(ish) Parody Musical at Meridian Arts Centre on November 29 is aimed at you.
The show
Holly, an overworked big-city executive, returns to her small hometown to save Christmas, juggling an old flame, a corporate merger, a cookie contest conspiracy, and a moose on the loose. Original pop songs lean into the joke, including titles like "Judge That Cookie" and "It Feels Like Christmas (Because It Is Literally Christmas)."
Practical
Lyric Theatre at Meridian Arts Centre, 5040 Yonge St. Tickets via Ticketmaster. Silly holiday theatre for adults who want laughs more than sincerity.
