Artists in Performance: Ukrainian Art Song Summer Institute

Immerse yourself in an afternoon of rich cultural heritage as the participants of the 2026 Ukrainian Art Song Summer Institute take the stage at The Royal Conservatory of Music (273 Bloor St W).

This special showcase highlights eight exceptional emerging artists—including sopranos Leah Brooks, Juliana Hentosz, Sadie Karlsson, and Olivia Smart, mezzo-soprano Tania Mandzy Inala, tenor Carter Martin, and pianists/singers alike—as they breathe new life into classical masterpieces. The program features evocative compositions by revered Ukrainian masters such as Mykola Lysenko, Vasyl Barvinsky, Stanyslav Liudkevych, and Stefania Turkewich.

Hosted in the heart of the Annex at the world-class Conservatory, this performance serves as both a breathtaking musical journey and a vital effort to preserve and celebrate Ukrainian culture. Tickets support the ongoing educational and preservation work of the Ukrainian Art Song Project.
