The Trampoline Hall Lectures

Monday, September 14, 2026
Time
7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Venue
The Garrison
Trampoline Hall returns for another round of delightfully unpredictable evenings at The Garrison on Dundas West. Created by Sheila Heti, this storied lecture series features three people giving short talks on topics in which they hold zero professional expertise, followed by a lively, unfiltered Q&A session with the audience.
What to Expect Expect the unexpected. Past nights have ranged from deeply moving personal essays to bewildering deep dives into hyper-specific historical tangents, all delivered with earnest enthusiasm. Because presenters are explicitly barred from lecturing on their day jobs, the tone is consistently hilarious, vulnerable, and wonderfully idiosyncratic.
Making a Night of It Located at 1197 Dundas St W, The Garrison puts you right in the heart of West Queen West. Grab a pint and a spot near the stage, and make a full evening by stopping by one of the neighbourhood's many great izakayas or taco spots along Dundas before the doors open.
Tickets notoriously sell out within minutes of dropping on Thursday, September 10th at 10 a.m., so set your alarms if you want a seat.
