Toys Alive! Exhibition Tour

Ever wonder what your toys get up to when the lights go out? Step into the toy box on August 4, 2026, during a free guided tour of the TD Gallery’s current exhibition, *Toys Alive!*, located on the first floor of the Toronto Reference Library at Yonge and Bloor.

Exhibition Highlights Drawing from the library's esteemed Osborne Collection of Early Children’s Books, this exhibition showcases literary works and imagery from the late 1800s to the present day. Follow dolly’s vintage adventures, teddy bears tracking down honey, and toy soldiers on patrol through rare editions and historical illustrations.

Practical Details The tour runs from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM. While registration is encouraged via the Toronto Public Library system, drop-ins are welcome—just meet at the entrance to the TD Gallery on the main floor. Being right at Yonge and Bloor, it's an easy stop to pair with a stroll through the Mink Mile or a quick bite nearby before or after the tour.
