Tinariwen w/ Orbital Ensemble

Legendary Tuareg desert blues ensemble Tinariwen are stopping by Toronto this September, headlining The Concert Hall (located inside the historic Masonic Temple at Yonge and Davenport) with support from Orbital Ensemble.

Formed in the rebel camps of the Sahara, Tinariwen are true pioneers of desert blues—a mesmerizing fusion of traditional West African and Berber rhythms with hypnotic, blues-infused electric guitar work. Winners of multiple Grammy Awards, their live performances are transcendent experiences, carrying the dust, history, and soulful resilience of the Sahara directly to the stage.
