Looking to add some colour to your summer wardrobe? Drop by the Armour Heights branch for a hands-on tie-dye crafting session designed for teens and younger adults.
Color and Creativity
Participants will learn essential tie-dye folding and binding techniques to create unique patterns. Cotton squares are supplied, but you are also welcome to bring your own plain cotton T-shirt or fabric item to give it a vibrant makeover. It is a relaxed, creative space to experiment with color theory and DIY fashion.
Practical Details
This is a drop-in event with no advance registration required, making it an easy afternoon stop. Located at 2140 Avenue Road in North York, Armour Heights Library is easily reached by local transit. Drop in, get your hands a little colourful, and pick up some new textile art skills.
