Looking for a fun, creative way to spend an afternoon with the little ones? Head over to the Deer Park branch for a special session dedicated to Eric Carle’s timeless children's classic, *The Hungry Caterpillar*.
What to Expect
Designed specifically for children ages 0 to 5 accompanied by a parent or caregiver, this drop-in event combines interactive storytelling with hands-on crafting. Kids will listen along as the beloved story is brought to life, and then stay to create their own butterfly and caterpillar crafts to take home. All materials are completely provided, making it an easy, stress-free outing for busy parents.
Practical Details
The session takes place on July 31, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM in Room 204 at the Deer Park Library (40 St. Clair Avenue East). It is entirely free to attend, and because it is a drop-in program, no prior registration is required. Situated right near Yonge and St. Clair, it's an easy trip by TTC and a great excuse to grab a coffee in midtown before or after the fun.
