The School of Performance at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) continues its season with a fresh production of Ben Jonson’s *The Alchemist*. A Masterclass in Satire Set during an outbreak of the plague in London, the story follows three con artists who set up shop in a vacant house to swindle a parade of gullible citizens. Thompson, known for her work with the Stratford Festival and various independent Toronto companies, brings a professional edge to this student-led production. Expect a fast-paced, physical comedy that showcases the technical and acting prowess of the TMU ensemble.
