Toronto's First Post Office—a National Historic Site dating back to 1833 located at 260 Adelaide St. E.—is turning the spotlight back onto the neighbours and history lovers who keep its legacy alive. Hosted by the Town of York Historical Society at the 183 Gallery in Moss Park (183 Queen St. E.), this free community appreciation evening is a wonderful way to connect with local historians and fellow residents.
Attendees can expect complimentary mocktails and charcuterie, a door prize draw featuring prints by photographer Brad Smith, and plenty of friendly conversation about the early days of the Town of York. While admission is completely free, space is limited and pre-registration is required. Drop by for either of the evening time slots between 6 PM and 8 PM to celebrate one of Old Town's most cherished historical landmarks.
