Ever wanted to try your hand at acrylic painting without investing in a mountain of art supplies? The Locke Library is hosting a staff-led summer painting session designed specifically for beginners and hobbyists looking to create a bright, seasonal canvas.
All necessary painting supplies are provided on-site. Instructors will guide you through the process step-by-step, ensuring a welcoming environment regardless of your artistic background. Just remember to wear clothes you do not mind getting a little paint on!
Practical Details
The workshop takes place in the program room at the Locke Library (3083 Yonge Street), just north of Lawrence Avenue. The program is free, but space and supplies are limited. Make an afternoon of it by exploring the shops along the bustling North Yonge strip before or after your class.
