Take advantage of the summer weather with an outdoor storytime session hosted by the Riverdale branch of the Toronto Public Library. Families and caregivers are invited to gather under the shade of the big tree at Hubbard Park, located at 550 Gerrard Street East.
Designed for young children and toddlers, this drop-in event features engaging stories, classic rhymes, and interactive songs led by library staff. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blankets to sit on and enjoy the park green space.
The session runs from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM. In the case of inclement weather, the event will seamlessly transition indoors to the Riverdale branch. It's a wonderful, low-stress way to introduce young kids to the joy of reading while enjoying one of the east end's lovely neighborhood parks.
