Spark an early interest in technology and engineering at the Thorncliffe Library's interactive STEM Club. Tailored for children ages 6 to 12, this drop-in session offers a fun 45 minutes of building, coding, and robotics.
What's Involved
Kids can roll up their sleeves and get creative with Snap Circuits, Dash and Dot, Sphero Robots, and Scratch Jr. It is a fantastic, playful way to develop essential problem-solving skills while making robots talk, dance, code, and navigate tricky obstacles.
Getting There
Located inside the Thorncliffe neighbourhood at 48 Thorncliffe Park Drive, the library is easily accessible via local TTC bus routes from Pape or Overlea. Registration is not required, but space and equipment are limited, so arriving a few minutes early is encouraged.
