Whether you are a seasoned sketch artist or just love absentmindedly doodling in the margins of your notebook, the High Park Library invites you to get creative during an open, unstructured art session this August.

Get Creative Supplies are fully provided, and friendly guidance is on hand if you want a little inspiration. Participants will be working on a variety of fun projects, ranging from custom comics to hand-crafted postcards and collaborative murals. Because the session is entirely drop-in and open to all ages and skill levels, it provides a welcoming, low-pressure environment to try something new.

Neighbourhood Context Situated right in the vibrant Roncesvalles neighbourhood, the High Park branch is just steps away from some of the west end's best coffee shops, bakeries, and, of course, the sprawling green spaces of High Park itself. Drop in for an hour of artistic fun before grabbing an iced coffee down the street.

Practical info: The event takes place on August 4, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM in the High Park Program Room. It is completely free and open to everyone with no registration required.
