The Second City's holiday revue, Sleigh It Ain't So, runs from November 19 to December 27, 2026, at the company's theatre at 110 Harbour St., near the foot of York Street.

The show is built to be a merry, easy night out. It mixes classic sketches pulled from The Second City's celebrated archives with new material written for this season, plus the improvised scenes that made the company famous. Second City Toronto's mainstage alumni include Dan Aykroyd, Catherine O'Hara, Eugene Levy, Martin Short, Andrea Martin and Mike Myers, so the archive has plenty to draw on, while the current ensemble brings fresh takes on everything from family dinners and office parties to the more absurd side of the season.

Holiday shows at Second City tend to be among the company's most popular runs of the year. They work well for office outings, friends reconnecting during the holidays, or visiting family who want something more fun than a mall trip. Because part of every show is improvised from audience suggestions, no two nights are quite the same.

If you have kids, note that this is the grown-up show. The Second City's family holiday show, Rudolph Runs Wild, runs in the same building from late November, with songs, sketches and onstage participation for young audiences.

Practical notes: tickets start at $50 and are sold through secondcity.com. The theatre is at 110 Harbour St., a short walk south of Union Station through the PATH and across from the Scotiabank Arena area, which makes it easy to reach by subway, GO Transit or UP Express. There are food and drink options in the venue, and plenty of restaurants nearby in the South Core. Weekend performances in December sell out quickly, so book well ahead if you have a group, and arrive early to settle in before the show starts.
