If you've ever wanted to learn the secrets behind perfect arancini or authentic cannoli, this workshop is for you. Erica Foffi, a Rome-born culinary enthusiast, is hosting a Sicilian Festa at the Centre for Social Innovation that promises to be as delicious as it is educational.
What to Expect
This is a hands-on class where you'll learn to prepare three Sicilian staples: caponata (a sweet-and-sour eggplant dish), arancini (golden fried rice balls), and cannoli made entirely from scratch. You'll work in pairs and small groups, meaning you'll get plenty of guidance as you learn the techniques behind these traditional recipes. You'll leave with the recipes, new skills, and a full stomach.
