Shub & Handsome Tiger - The Electric Pow Wow Tour

Groundbreaking producer and turntable maestro Shub (formerly known as DJ Shub of A Tribe Called Red) joins forces with Vancouver-based Anishinaabe/Métis electronic artist Handsome Tiger for an explosive stop on The Electric Pow Wow Tour at The Dance Cave. Blending traditional Indigenous powwow drumming, singing, and flute with hard-hitting bass music, electronic trap, and masterful scratch routines, this performance represents modern Indigenous electronic music at its most thrilling.

Masters of PowWowStep and Global Bass Widely hailed as the Godfather of PowWowStep, Shub is a JUNO Award-winning producer and two-time Canadian DMC champion who has continually redefined how traditional music and contemporary club culture intersect. His live sets are dynamic masterclasses in real-time turntable technique and sonic storytelling.

Co-headliner Handsome Tiger brings his own heavy signature sound, fusing elements of dubstep, global bass, and traditional percussion into immersive, dancefloor-focused rhythms. Together, their Electric Pow Wow Tour showcases a forward-thinking celebration of Indigenous culture, resilience, and pure auditory power.
