Founded in 2000, Shesh Besh brings together elite musicians from the Israel Philharmonic alongside renowned artists from the Arab community in northern Israel for a moving evening of cross-cultural musical collaboration at Koffler Arts on Shaw Street.
The Performance
The ensemble utilizes traditional classical instruments alongside Middle Eastern mainstays like the oud, ney, and darbuka. Their repertoire weaves together classical masterworks, traditional Middle Eastern folk melodies, and original compositions.
