Scientists in School: Ride ‘n’ Roll with Science

Turn an ordinary summer evening into an amusement park adventure at the Bloor/Gladstone library branch. Designed for children aged 4 to 12 alongside their parents and caregivers, this interactive 'Scientists in School' workshop dives deep into the exciting physics of riding and rolling.

Dive Into Physics Kids will get to investigate action and reaction through bumper cars, explore the fascinating forces at work when things spin, and build their own miniature ziplines to investigate gravity in real-time. The main challenge? Designing a custom roller coaster that meets specific engineering criteria.

Practical Details No registration is required, but space is limited, so it is best to arrive a bit early to secure a spot. Parents and caregivers are asked to stay and assist when needed. Located in the heart of Dovercourt-Wallace Emerson-Junction at 1101 Bloor Street West, it makes for a fantastic family afternoon out with plenty of local cafes nearby for a post-workshop treat.
