SCIENCE IS A DRAG: ALL STARS
Science Is a Drag: All Stars plays the Opera House (735 Queen St. E.) on Wednesday, November 25, 2026. Doors are at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
The concept is exactly what it sounds like: real scientific topics turned into drag performance art. What began as a few numbers in a bar has grown into a cult favourite, and this is the show's first concert hall date. The All Stars edition brings back the show's most legendary, fan-favourite performers.
Hosting is Dr. Rawbyn Diamonds, an actual scientist, lip sync diva and self-described ultimate drag all-star. The lineup includes Kyne from season one of Canada's Drag Race, along with Dr. Memica Conplex, Big Mike and Ms. Medisin. Expect big looks, sharp jokes and the odd moment where you realize you just learned something about chemistry or biology without noticing.
It is a great pick for science nerds, drag fans and anyone who wants a midweek night out that is a bit different. It works for a group of friends or a date where you want something to talk about afterwards.
Practical notes: this is a legal age 19+ event, so bring ID. The Opera House is in Leslieville on Queen Street East near Broadview, and the 501 Queen streetcar stops right outside. Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. The room is general admission in many configurations, so arriving close to doors gets you a better view.
