If you’ve ever sat in the audience of a storytelling show like The Moth and wondered if you could do the same, this is your chance to find out. Replay Storytelling is hosting a comprehensive seven-week workshop at Balzac’s Powerhouse in the Junction Triangle, designed to help you find the heart of your personal narrative.
Master the Craft
Led by experienced storytellers, the workshop covers the essential building blocks of a great story. You’ll learn how to find the emotional truth in your experiences, how to structure a narrative for maximum impact, and how to use vivid details to bring your characters to life. The sessions focus on clarity, empathy, and the vulnerability required to connect with a live audience.
From Page to Stage
This isn't just a writing class; it’s a performance workshop. Over the seven weeks, you’ll hone your voice and point of view, learning practical techniques for public speaking and stage presence. The workshop culminates in a student showcase at Burdock Music Hall in April, giving you a professional platform to share your finished story.
Practical Info
The workshop runs every Tuesday evening from March 3rd to April 14th. Balzac’s Powerhouse provides a cozy, inspiring backdrop for the sessions. Space is strictly limited to ensure everyone gets personalized feedback, so early registration is highly recommended for anyone looking to strengthen their communication skills or simply share their story with confidence.
