Keep the little ones entertained this summer with a charming afternoon of interactive entertainment at the Beaches Library. Combining live puppetry with engaging storytelling, this family-friendly program invites kids to dive straight into imaginative worlds. Following the performance, young attendees will get to participate in a hands-on workshop directly inspired by the story, giving them a chance to flex their fine motor skills and craft something to take home.

Practical Details Hosted in the Program Room at the Beaches branch (2161 Queen Street East), this event is completely free to attend, though online registration is strongly recommended to secure a spot as space is strictly capped at 20 participants. Drop-ins are welcome if capacity allows. Note that registration is intended exclusively for the participating children rather than caregivers.

Exploring the Neighbourhood Situated right in the Beach neighbourhood, the library is just a short stroll away from the boardwalk and Kew Gardens. It's the perfect excuse to pair a morning or afternoon of library fun with an ice cream cone along Queen Street East or a walk down by Lake Ontario.
