Pretty

Geary Avenue continues to solidify its reputation as one of Toronto's most exciting creative corridors, and The Sound Garage provides the perfect intimate backdrop for live alternative and indie rock. This October, Pretty takes the stage for a loud, melody-driven set packed with driving rhythms, punchy hooks, and plenty of attitude.

Fans of scrappy guitar rock and authentic live club energy will appreciate the stripped-back, direct approach that defines Pretty's live performances. Expect a full set that balances gritty, distorted riffs with sharp lyricism and infectious choruses, drawing together indie rock enthusiasts from across the west end.

The Venue and Geary Scene

The Sound Garage sits right in the heart of the Geary Avenue industrial strip, nestled among local craft breweries, art studios, and indie eateries. It offers an unpretentious, high-energy environment where audiences can get right up close to the performers. Before or after the show, Geary Avenue offers great spots for pre-gig pints and post-show hangs, from Blood Brothers Brewing just down the street to the late-night slices at Greater Good on nearby Dufferin.

Practical Details

Doors open in the evening, with tickets available for $29. The venue is easily accessible via the 29 Dufferin or 47 Lansdowne bus routes from the Bloor-Danforth subway line. Street parking along Geary is limited and fills up quickly on weekend nights, so taking public transit or rideshare is strongly recommended.
