Navigating early childhood milestones with unique health considerations can sometimes feel isolating. Maryvale Library is stepping up with a specialized, low-pressure STEM session designed for school-aged children and families seeking a calm, accessible environment to learn and play.

This inclusive drop-in event invites kids to dive into science with hands-on activities, including exploring pond life through microscopes, experiencing a faux sea slug petting zoo, and designing their very own tabletop aquariums to take home and display. Parents can also enjoy a dedicated break station while children engage in discovery. The afternoon will feature a gentle reading of Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale, *The Little Mermaid*.
