For 40 years, the Penderecki Quartet has been a cornerstone of Canada’s chamber music scene. To mark this incredible milestone, they are returning to the Jane Mallett Theatre for a special anniversary concert that highlights their commitment to both the classical canon and contemporary innovation.
The Program
The evening features a powerful selection, including Krzysztof Penderecki’s 'String Quartet No. 3: Leaves of an Unwritten Diary' and Franz Schubert’s monumental 'Quintet in C major for Two Cellos.' It’s a program that showcases the technical precision and deep emotional range that have made the quartet a fixture at Wilfrid Laurier University and beyond.
