There is no better place in the city for a night of heavy metal nostalgia than the Rockpile. Known for its uncompromising sound system and dedicated rock-first atmosphere, the venue plays host to Ozzy Night, a celebration of the man who defined the genre. While the Prince of Darkness himself might be retired from the road, his spirit lives on through high-voltage tributes that regularly take over this Etobicoke stage.

What to Expect You can expect a setlist packed with the essentials: "Crazy Train," "Mr. Crowley," "Bark at the Moon," and "War Pigs." The Rockpile is a classic rock bar in the best sense—it’s loud, the beer is cold, and the crowd knows every lyric. Whether you're a die-hard Black Sabbath fan or you prefer the 80s shred-era of "Blizzard of Ozz," this is a night designed for the front-row headbangers.

The Venue Experience The Rockpile offers an intimate but powerful concert experience. Unlike the massive downtown arenas, you’re never more than a few dozen feet from the stage, allowing for a visceral connection to the music. It’s located in the Junction-adjacent area of Etobicoke near the corner of Dundas and Highway 427. While it's a bit of a trek from the core, it remains a staple for the local metal community.

Getting There There is plenty of parking nearby for those driving, but if you’re coming from the downtown core, the Kipling TTC station is your best bet. From there, it's a quick bus ride or Uber connection to the club. Arrive early to grab a spot near the stage, as these tribute nights tend to draw a very loyal and energetic crowd of regulars.
