Nature Detectives

Looking for a way to get the little ones out of the house and socializing with peers? Head over to Burrows Hall in Scarborough for Nature Detectives, a specialized early learning program designed for parents, caregivers, and children from birth to 6 years old.

Co-sponsored with EarlyON and the Malvern Family Resource Centre, this free drop-in session gives young children a wonderful environment to develop new motor and social skills through nature-inspired play and exploration. It's also an ideal spot for parents and caregivers to connect, share experiences, and build a local support network.

What to Expect The program runs from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, making it a great late-afternoon activity to wind down your day. Because it's a drop-in session, you can swing by at your own pace, though arriving a bit early is recommended to secure your spot in the room.

Getting There & Nearby Burrows Hall is located at 1081 Progress Ave, just north of Sheppard Ave E, with plenty of local transit connections. If you're looking to make a full afternoon of it, nearby Neilson Park offers fantastic green space for a post-playdate stroll or picnic.
