Music in the Tavern at Montgomery's Inn

Thursday, October 1, 2026 – Thursday, December 3, 2026
7:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Montgomery's Inn
Montgomery's Inn turns its historic tavern into a living room for the neighbourhood again this fall. Music in the Tavern pairs traditional folk sets with food cooked on site — bread and stew are included with every ticket, and drinks are sold at the nearly 200-year-old bar.
Expect an unhurried evening: acoustic music, candlelit tables, and the kind of hearth-side warmth that chain venues cannot fake. The Inn sits at 4709 Dundas Street West in Etobicoke (Islington station / Dundas West bus corridor), so it is an easy west-end outing without downtown parking drama.
Tickets are $20. Series dates run from October 1 through December 4, 2026 — check the City of Toronto museums calendar for the exact evening you want, then book ahead; rooms are intimate and fill with regulars. Arrive a little early if you want a seat near the hearth, and dress for a drafty historic building (layers help).
Practical tip: this is a community heritage night more than a concert hall show. Bring friends who like stories and stew as much as songs, and leave time to wander the Inn grounds before or after the music.
