Looking to flex your creative muscles without buying a whole kit of art supplies? Head over to the Riverdale Library for a hands-on Mushroom Mixed Media workshop tailored specifically for young adults (ages 18-24).
Participants will dive into the whimsical world of fungi, learning how to sketch various mushroom species while building rich, textured backgrounds using a combination of watercolours and collage techniques. Whether you are an experienced doodler or just looking to try something new on a Friday evening, all necessary materials are provided free of charge.
Located right in the heart of Riverdale on Broadview Avenue, the library is just steps away from some great neighbourhood spots. Grab an iced matcha down the street at one of the local cafes or take a stroll through nearby Riverdale Park after your art session to catch the golden hour view over the Toronto skyline.
