Lansdowne's underground sound bunker BSMT254 hosts a relentless evening of sonic extremes this Labour Day Monday, presented by DIY collective More Noise Please. Curated for adventurous listeners and noise aficionados, the Manic Monday showcase gathers underground heavy-hitters from Vancouver, Syracuse, Windsor, and Toronto.

The Lineup & Sonic Spectrum Headlining the bill is Vancouver-based project The Nausea, known for weaving haunting classical string arrangements with crushing chamber doom and wall-of-sound harsh noise. They are joined by fellow West Coast industrial sound collagist SEHKTOR 8 and upstate New York doom/noise architect Mountain of Woe.

Rounding out the evening is Toronto veteran Pursuit Grooves, delivering hypnotic, deconstructed experimental bass, alongside Windsor free-improvisation duo Crude Flame and local noise project Writhing Deceiver.

The Venue BSMT254 is situated on Lansdowne Avenue just north of College Street in the Brockton Village neighbourhood. Outfitted with a heavyweight sound system engineered specifically for bass and electronic performance, it provides an intimate, visceral setting for high-decibel exploration. The 47 Lansdowne and 506 Carlton streetcars drop off steps away. Earplugs are essential and available at the bar.
