Music lovers are in for a transcendent sonic journey this August as Adelaide Hall hosts an exclusive double-bill featuring Moneka Arabic Jazz and a special opening performance by Zale Seck, presented by in·summer and The Global South.

The Artists Headliner Ahmed Moneka is a Juno-nominated artist who draws deeply from his Afro-Sufi heritage, blending infectious African grooves with rich Arabic folk melodies, contemporary funk, soul, and jazz. Since arriving in Toronto from Iraq in 2015, Moneka has become a vital fixture of the city's arts scene, even lending his talents to theatrical productions like The Tragically Hip's upcoming musical.

Opening the night is Zale Seck, a master of diverse rhythms hailing from Dakar, Senegal. Now based in Québec, Seck seamlessly weaves Afrobeat, Senegalese rumba, and contemporary influences into a vibrant tapestry that reflects the pulse of West African nightlife.

Practical Info Doors open at 7:00 PM with the music kicking off at 7:30 PM. Located downtown at 250 Adelaide St W, Adelaide Hall provides an intimate, high-energy club atmosphere that puts you right up close to the performers. Grab your tickets early for a night of rhythm-heavy celebration.
