Meet and Create with Mireille Messier

Bring the little ones to the Daniel G. Hill Library for a morning of storytelling and creativity featuring award-winning bilingual author Mireille Messier. Kids will be treated to an interactive reading of her charming picture book, *The Magic Cap*, full of gnomes, hedgehogs, and magic.

Crafting Fun Following the reading, children will dive into a hands-on crafting session where they get to design and build their very own take-home 'Hedgehog With a Magic Cap' craft. It is a fantastic way to spark kids' imaginations and introduce them to local children's literature.

Practical Details Hosted in the Program Room at the Daniel G. Hill Library (620 Jane Street in York), this free event is tailored specifically for school-aged children (ages 6–12). Space is typically limited at these library author showcases, so dropping in early is encouraged.
